Three Heating Zone High Pressure and High Vacuum Tube Furnace with Super-Alloy Tube upto 1100°C - OTF-1200X-HP-III-80

、Please view "Isotropic round-wire multifilament cuprate superconductor for generation of magnetic fields above 30 TMat-2014-13-4-Larbalestier-Isotropic round-wire" published by NATURE MATERIAL 3887, 9 MARCH 2014, in which an STR-High-Pressure furnace was used.OTF-1200X-HP-III-80 is a high pressure / high vacuum split tube furnace with three heating zones. The processing tube is made of a Ni-based superalloy, which offers a solution for heat treatment under both high positive pressure and high vacuum pressure with/without inert gas support to process special compound materials. The furnace can be heated up to a max. 1100℃at 2.5 bar pressure (or 900℃at 80 bars). The gas flowing system is variable upon request.SPECIFICATIONS

Process Vessel	、Made of Nickel-based superalloy GH747(Click to downloadGH747 nickel based alloy datasheet) 、Size: 85 mm ODx50 mm IDx1000 mm L 、Working gasses: O2 and inert gasses such as N2, Ar, and He 、A small quartz or alumina boat should be used to load the sample inside the tube. Never place the sample directly onto the tube without a crucible, which may greatly shorten the processing tube service-life 、Warning: Never put the sample inside tube directly without crucible or isolated foil to avoid sample react with tube alloy. ?You may use gold or nickel foil to wrap the crucible boat to minimize the contamination to the pressure vessel. 、Attention: Processing tube is a consumable part. Pressure Sensor and Valve	、Pressure gauge with range of 0 – 25 MPa and over-pressure alarm is installed (downstream side) 、Pressure control valve with a working range of 0.2 – 15 MPa is installed (the upstream side with 1/4" BSPP venting port) 、If the measured pressure reaches the high-pressurealarm value, the pressure control valve will be opened until the pressure drops 0.2 MPa (2 bars) below the alarm value 、The manual pressure relief valve is installed for manual pressure control and relief (the downstream side with 1/4" BSPP gas outlet port)
High-pressure relief valve	、Safety pressure relief valve is recommended (the upstream side with 1/4" NPT venting port) 、Please info us your application temperature and we will pre-set the release pressure for you. For example, you need to heat to 800C, the Max working pressure should be 140 bars, we will pre-set the relief valve to 140 bars.
Flange and Fitting	、A pair of 63 mm CF type flanges is included. Please use atorque wrench(optional, not included) to avoid over tightening the flange bolts. 、2 pieces ofcopper O-rings(99 mm ODx82 mm IDx2.2 mm thickness) are included. Please order extra copper O-ring as consumable parts 、A pair of cooling fans are included for air cooling the flanges 、One mobile cart with installation holes isincludedfor easy setup and immediate use

Application Notes	?Hytort Application, or named Hydroretorting of Shale Oilis a process developed by IGT to double the yield of shale oil and hydrocarbon gasses. Please click underlined to view research paper. 、The gas pressure will increase during the heating operation. Please calculate the pressure changing towards your target temperature and set a safe value of pressure during the process.
Safety Notes	、Ni-based superalloy (Waspaloy or equivalent) is a reliable material which can be used under high temperature and high pressure. It has excellent ductility and tensile properties. Only creep deformation happens under overpressure, and cracks are usually formed at the center of the tube to release the pressure. Brittle fracture and tube explosion will not happen. Left pics shows Ni-based Superalloy processing tube under overpressure test 、DO NOT overtighten the flange screws as this may cause permanent damage to the flange or screws. Please refer tothe instructionabout proper torque for installing CF flange bolts. We recommend you to use a torque wrench to tighten the screws with the flange 、DO NOT operate the furnace at a temperature/pressureabove the safety limit that STR- recommends 、Extreme caution should be exercised while operating within the vicinity of the high- pressurefurnace. The operator should NEVER stand in front of the flanges, gasinlet/outlet, or the pressure relief valve while the tube is pressure loaded! NEVER face on the gasinlet/outletand the pressure relief valve to avoid injury from high pressure, hot gas discharge 、Attention: A two-stage pressure regulator must be installed on the gas cylinder to limit the pressure for safe operation.
